"...this has a happy ending, Gia. It's already written."

Nikolas: We have to get out of here, Gia.

Gia: Maybe we should wait. I mean, somebody will know where we are and they'll come for us.

Nikolas: No, people have been searching for this place for months. {Walks over to the door} All right, I have got to get you out of here now.

Gia: Nikolas, don't.

Nikolas: Gia, what is it you're not telling me?

~*~

Gia: I'm not hiding anything. I'm just selfish. It took us so long to get here, you know? I can't lose you. And I might if you do something dangerous and crazy.

Nikolas: Look, it is more dangerous to do nothing, Gia. We're running out of time. We have no idea what Helena's planned next.

Gia: But your father said he doesn't want to hurt anybody. Isn't there anything you could do about to him?

Nikolas: How would that be?

Gia: Look, I don't know Stavros all that well, but I really do believe that he was telling the truth and being sincere. And -- I just -- I just really believe that all he wants is for you to love him.

Nikolas: Where is all this coming from? I mean, all of a sudden, you're defending my father? I --

Gia: I just want you to be a little careful.

Nikolas: I have to do something. I can't just sit around and wait for this to all end. We will all lose, all right? And I love you. I -- {Pulls her into an embrace} I love you too much for that, Gia.

~*~

Nikolas: Do you know how mad I would be if we did all this for nothing? You'd be making it up to me for years. Look, this has a happy ending, Gia. It's already written. All you have to do is trust it.

Gia: I'm trying.

Nikolas: Believe. Besides, I've kind of gotten used to your eyes and your smile, the way you charge headfirst into things because you believe so passionately that you're right even when you're wrong.

Gia: Are you trying to cheer me up or pick a fight?

Nikolas: I'm serious. There's just -- there's no halfway with you, and I admire that. And there's no way that I will lose you now or ever, ok?  Now, I have an idea all right? Now, I want you to follow my lead and do not freak out, ok?

Gia: What are you going to do?

Nikolas: I'm about to turn into the man we've all come to know and despise -- the prince. Ok? {Pounds on the door} Guard! Get in here!

~*~

Nikolas: I am taking this woman to see my father. She refuses to yield to me, and for that she will be punished.

Man: I was specifically told --

Nikolas: I doubt you were told to keep the son of Stavros Cassadine imprisoned. Now, my father gave us orders to leave us alone. I am finished -- for now.

Gia: I will never submit to you. Not while there's still breath in my lungs.

Nikolas: You will pay for this, you worthless --

Gia: Oh, go ahead. Do your worst. I will never let your filthy Cassadine hands touch me. And, you know, running to your father -- it only proves what a weak little boy you are.

Nikolas: How dare you!

Man: Hold it. I got to clear this with my supervisor.

Nikolas: Go ahead. Meanwhile I will be explaining to my father how you treated us no better than a Spencer. He'll love that. Now, I have no time for this.

Man: Hey, hey -- {Nikolas punches him and closes the door}

Nikolas: Gia, go, go, go. I can get you to the maze. Let's go.
