"Lucky, what are you doing? I want that letter!"
Nikolas: The deed to Wyndemere.

Man: Yes, sir.

Nikolas: Read it against the deed in my grandmother's files.

Man: Excellent idea, sir.

Nikolas: Thank you. If there are discrepancies, contact me immediately. Otherwise, I would prefer to be left alone.

Man: Certainly, sir.

Nikolas: The real estate holdings in the northeastern seaboard -- these need to be updated to include all recent acquisitions.

Man: You're very thorough, sir.

Nikolas: Thank you. I will need a cost analysis and profit/loss reports on each of the properties by the end of the day.

Man: I'll call in extra staff, sir.

Nikolas: I will also be expecting a report on how recent raids by jasper jacks have affected these holdings.

Man: I'll make that my first priority, sir.

Nikolas: Preliminary numbers by the end of the day and a full report by tomorrow.

Man: We'd better get busy.

Nikolas: That's it, gentlemen. Thank you very much. Thanks again.

Man: Yeah.

Second man: Thank you, sir.

Lucky: Good job, guys. {Walks over to Nikolas} Hey, I was hoping maybe you could help me with something. I'm looking for somebody. His name's Nikolas Cassadine. He's my brother.

~*~

When there's a knock a the door, Elizabeth thinks it's Lucky

Elizabeth: You can't be here yet. Oh, shoot! No, no. Oh. You're way too early. I'm -- I'm not even ready! {Gia walks in} Oh.

Gia: Elizabeth? Are you still speaking to me?

Elizabeth: Yes, but not right now.

Gia: Wow, cleaning out your closet. You must feel terrible.

Elizabeth: Actually, I'm getting ready for a date.

Gia: A date? That's wonderful.

Elizabeth: Yeah, and all of a sudden, I hate all of my clothes.

Gia: I'm so happy for you. Who's the guy?

Elizabeth: Lucky.

Gia: Lucky?

Elizabeth: Yeah, you remember -- blond hair, seriously cute, love of my life?

Gia: Well, yeah, but --

Elizabeth: We're taking little baby steps to get back where we were.

Gia: Oh.

Elizabeth: Go ahead and say it, Gia. Just get it over with.

~*~

Lucky: Wow. Wow, look at you. Got the suit thing happening and the tie and bankers practically kneeling at your feet. No, no, you're not the brother that I used to shoot hoops with.

Nikolas: You mean the brother you knocked to the pavement, held to the ground?

Lucky: I play rough. What can I say?

Nikolas: {Walks around the desk} The brother who wiped out your feelings for Elizabeth?

Lucky: Hey.

Nikolas: The brother you are furious with -- yep. That would be me.

Lucky: All right, Nikolas. I got a little carried away, ok?

Nikolas: I'm not saying you were wrong.

Lucky: I was kidding.

Nikolas: No, actually, you weren't, and quite frankly, Lucky, neither am I.

Lucky: Will you lighten up, man? The bankers are long gone.

Nikolas: The fact is I did a rotten thing.

Lucky: No. You tried to save my life. You made a call, you had no other options, and I can deal with that. We're fine, buddy, I promise.

Nikolas: I'm not -- I'm not so sure about that.

Lucky: OK, I blew up. I blew up, Nikolas! I'm sorry.

Nikolas: Right, so you weren't kidding.

Lucky: I'm my father's son. We explode, and then we're over it.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah, except "over it" may take, oh, I don't know, decades?

Lucky: I moved on.

Nikolas: What do you mean? How could you possibly "move on"?

Lucky: Elizabeth and I are working things out. We're going to be fine.

-~*~

Gia: Do you honestly think dating Lucky is a good idea?

Elizabeth: Well, obviously. But since you don't, there's the door.

Gia: What did I say?

Elizabeth: It's what you were going to say, what you were thinking. I can read it all over your face.

Gia: You can?

Elizabeth: "Poor Elizabeth, grasping at straws, frantically dressing for a second date with a guy that she's loved for eons, searching his eyes for the tiniest glimmer of that love that fills her entire heart, setting herself up for yet another heartbreak, as if she hasn't had enough."

Gia: And I was about to say all that?

Elizabeth: And what am I supposed to do? Do quit? Move on to somebody else the way you did when Nikolas dumped you?

Gia: Oh, come on. That was a completely different --

Elizabeth: How long have you and Nikolas been together? A year? Yeah, well, Lucky and I have been together a lot longer than that, and I am not about to give up. I've held through the toughest times --

Gia: I know. You totally fought for him, but that's not my --

Elizabeth: And Lucky is fighting now, too. He wants us to be together as much as I do. I watched Helena Cassadine tear a hole in his heart. That didn't stop us. Lucky and I are more powerful than anything any Cassadine can ever do.

Gia: I don't doubt that, but --

Elizabeth: What if I lose? At least I know I tried and I didn't give up. Go ahead, call me a fool if you want to, but I am not --

Gia: Elizabeth, you are not a fool. You're brave, and you're absolutely right.

~*~

Gia: Going for broke. I get that. {Sits on the bed}

Elizabeth: OK, I need to get ready.

Gia: You know, I thought you were a total wimp.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I wasn't your biggest fan, either.

Gia: You'll risk anything for Lucky. I admire that.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Gia: I'll back you up, Elizabeth, all the way.

Elizabeth: I appreciate your support, Gia. Now, will you please leave because I really need to get dressed. {Walks over to her closet}

Gia: Well, you know, you don't have much to wk with he. Ooh, actually, this one is the least insipid.

~*~

Nikolas: So you and Elizabeth are working things out?

Lucky: And that surprises you?

Nikolas: So how about a trip to Paris? Maybe Belize?

Lucky: Are you trying to get rid of us?

Nikolas: No, I'm simply trying to help you out, that's all.

Lucky: And this from a prince in his suit?

Nikolas: Oh, I see, and dressing up like a carpenter -- it's romantic, huh? Is that it?

Lucky: It's spontaneous! I don't expect you to get the concept.

Nikolas: Now, wait a second. I can be spontaneous -- that I can do.

Lucky: {Mocking Nikolas' bankers} oh, yes, sir. Splendid work, sir. Anything you need, sir.

Nikolas: I have a job, all right?

Lucky: {Back to normal voice} Stefan shoved off the estate to you. Why can't you admit it?

Nikolas: Because it's not true.

Lucky: Ok. So, you hang loose, you -- you relax and --

Nikolas: I'm doing in right now, right? I'm loosening my tie --

Lucky: Oh, somebody get the bankers on the phone! Nikolas Cassadine is loosening his tie!

Nikolas: Will you stop it? I'm still the same man I always was, all right?

Lucky: Prove it. You're hanging out with Elizabeth and me for the rest of the afternoon.

Nikolas: Fine. Give me two minutes, figure out some of this stuff called work --

Lucky: How about I give you two seconds?

Nikolas: Yeah --

Lucky: One, two -- put down the letter!

Nikolas: It's a letter from my father. It was written the day I was born.

~*~

Gia: Not bad, considering what I had to work with.  You know, maybe we can go shopping tomorrow and get you out of these boring clothes.

Elizabeth: You know, this probably never occurred to you, but Lucky didn't fall in love with my clothes. He --

Gia: Well, I hope not.

Elizabeth: What I mean is he actually fell in love with --

Gia: Lucky fell in love with you, I know, and why wouldn't he?

Elizabeth: Ok, I'm not sure whether I should say "thank you" or --

Gia: A little packaging never hurt.

Elizabeth: Who put you in charge of taste?

Gia: It's a gift.

Elizabeth: Oh, right, right. I missed that.

Gia: What can I say? I was born with style like some people were born with perfect pitch. If you apply yourself, you can just hum along.

Elizabeth: Wait. Excuse me? I'm lost.

Gia: You need all the help you can get.

Elizabeth: I have managed just fine so far, thank you.

Gia: Uh-huh, which explains this mess. You know, the saying is "when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping for more interesting clothes." And by the way, the shopping's on me.

Elizabeth: Gia, thank you, but, you know, I really don't need any --

Gia: Well, you're very welcome. Now, can we please do something with that hair?

~*~

Gia: You look fabulous. It's exotic.

Elizabeth: You're not serious.

Gia: Yeah! A new and exciting you. Lucky will flip out.

Elizabeth: He's going to run out of this room screaming.

Gia: Oh, come on. You just have to get used to it.

Elizabeth: No, Gia. I'm not -- no. No.

Gia: But you're cutting edge. Lucky's in to all that.

Elizabeth: I am not going to let him see me like this.

Gia: Oh, will you just give him a chance?

Elizabeth: I look like Heidi.

Gia: Actually, you kind of do.

Elizabeth: Yeah, Heidi goes reggae.

Gia: Well, as long as you don't start yodelling.

Elizabeth: Oh, come on. Take them out. Come on.

Gia: After all that work?

Elizabeth: I am not going to let anybody see me like this, Gia.

Gia: Oh. Well, just because you don't have the cheekbones to pull --

Elizabeth: Take out my braids or I'll rip out yours.

Gia: Ouch! And people say I'm a diva.

Elizabeth: Please? Just help me.

Gia: You know, even fashion icons make mistakes from time to time. Heidi goes reggae? What's that?

Elizabeth: Ow. {They laugh as they take out her braids}

Gia: Oh, I'm sorry!

~*~

Lucky: Don't go there, Nikolas. Come on. This is unhealthy.

Nikolas: {Reading the letter}"My son is born, my first son. His name will be Nikolas."

Lucky: Please don't read any more.

Nikolas: "I'm not alone anymore."

Lucky: Why tear yourself up like this?

Nikolas: "I want to be close to my son. I hope he understands --"

Lucky: Stop! {Grabs the letter and throws it in the fireplace}

Nikolas: Lucky, what are you doing? I want that letter!

Lucky: What do you think I'm doing? Let it burn!

Nikolas: Let me have the letter!

Lucky: Let it burn!

Nikolas: {Grabs Lucky's shirt} You have your father, Lucky! Now, why can't you Spencers just let me have a piece of mine!
