"Marcus, I'm so scared."

Courtney, Gia and Elizabeth suffer a car crash

~*~

Courtney: {Starts to wake up} Seat belt. Fire. Ok, no fire. {Hops out of the car window} I'm ok. I'm ok. Oh, how did this happen? Oh, my god. Who else? My god. {Walks over to Gia's car} Are you ok? Anybody? Oh, not you. No, please, not you. Gia -- oh, my god -- think. Focus, focus. Phone. Oh, my god. Oh, my god.

Courtney: {Max grabs her phone} Hey!

Max: Mr. Corinthos wouldn't want you to involve the police.

~*~

Courtney: No way am I going with you guys.

Max: Look, when you're safe, we'll call an ambulance.

Courtney: I am safe, all right? Give me my phone!

Johnny: No one can know you were here.

Courtney: What, were you following me?

Johnny: Come with us.

Max: Mr. Corinthos will want to help you.

Courtney: Uh-uh. No. No -- no way possible. {They grab her} No, god -- let me go! There's people hurt! Don't you even care?

Johnny: The sooner you leave --

max: The sooner we'll call an ambulance.

Courtney: Ok. Ok, all right, just let me go! God.

Taggert: Stop! Nobody's going anywhere.

~*~

Courtney: You have to call an ambulance.

Taggert: Don't tell me my job, Ms. Matthews. This is lt. Taggert. We have a two-vehicle accident at east meadow road and lake view. Unclear. Send me at least two ambulances, and we have three suspects fleeing the scene of an accident.

Courtney: No, no, wait --

Max: Don't --

Taggert: Shut up! All of you, you stay put. Oh, my god. {Gia groans and he goes over to her car} Gia -- Gia, are you all right?

Gia: Marcus --

Taggert: Shh, shh, shh. Don't move, ok? I'm here now. Everything's going to be ok, all right? I got an ambulance on the way. You just hold on, all right, Gia? Elizabeth? Elizabeth? This is Taggert -- damn it. This is Taggert. Where is my ambulance?

~*~

Courtney: Why don't you both go back to Sonny and tell him to leave me alone.

Max: I'll tell him, Ms. Matthews. But in the meantime, you need to keep your mouth shut. You dot say anything to anybody, especially the cops. Do you understand?

Gia: {With Taggert} Where's Elizabeth?

Taggert: She's on her way to the hospital.

Gia: {Looks over at Elizabeth} Is she going to be all right?

Taggert: She will be.

Gia: You don't know, do you?

Taggert: Gia, they are doing everything they can, ok?

Gia: No, that means it's really bad, isn't it?

Taggert: Gia, just relax, all right? Ok?

Gia: Do you know what happened?

Taggert: Looks like you collided with that woman over there. {They look over at Courtney}

Gia: I don't believe this.

Taggert: Do you know her?

Gia: She tried to steal money from me right after Christmas.

Taggert: Well, looks like she just ran a red light, too.

{Gia thinks back to the accident}

     Elizabeth: Gia --

     Gia: Oh, my god!

     Elizabeth: Oh, my god {Car horn beeps}

{End of flashback}

Gia: Yeah, that must be what happened.

Officer: Lieutenant?

Taggert: I'll be right back, ok?

Gia: Ok.

Courtney: {Walks over to Gia} Are you ok?

Gia: First, you steal from me, and then you crash into me?

Courtney: Wait. You ran the red light.

Gia: No, I didn't.

Courtney: You didn't even slow down.

Taggert: Right over here. My sister -- she was driving the Mercedes, all right? You give her everything she needs, ok?

Paramedic: Just lay down gently.

Taggert: Ok. This is what we're going to do, all right? We're going to go down to the E.R. -- Everybody except you two. If I see you, if I even smell you, I'm going to arrest you, all right? Bye. {Johnny and Max leave} Now, we're going to let the doctor check both of you out, and then we'll decide who's responsible, ok?

Courtney: I don't think I'm hurt.

Taggert: But you're going.

~*~

Doctor: That's my trauma?

Paramedic: Yeah, the one we called in. Our female car accident. B.P. Is dropping, sir.

Doctor: Give me numbers.

Paramedic: 80/60 and falling fast.

Doctor: Any more changes?

Paramedic: No, she's still hypotensive and tachy.

Doctor: All right, give me bloods. Order a trauma panel and U.A. Four units of o-negative, type and cross for twoore. Do it now! Get us into C.T. Right way, ok? Go.

Paramedic: {They wheel Gia in} Oh, look, try not to move, ok?

Gia: Where's Elizabeth?

Paramedic: Don't worry about that now.

Taggert: Gia --

Gia: Marcus, I'm so scared.

Taggert: I know, baby, I know. It's going to be fine, ok? I'll find Elizabeth. All right? You stay here.

~*~

Taggert: {Kneels next to Gia} Hi. So, what'd the doctor say?

Gia: Just a minor concussion.

Taggert: You know you're going to stay here tonight, right?

Gia: I know, I know. How's Elizabeth?

Taggert: She's not good. Dr. Caldwell told me there's internal injuries.

Gia: But she'll be all right, right?

Taggert: They're waiting for results, Gia. They're doing all they can to stop the internal bleeding. I'm sorry.

Gia: I can't believe this happened.

Taggert: I know, I know.

Courtney: {With the nurse} It's ok if I go home?

Nurse: Yes. Caldwell signed your chart. But if anything changes -- stiff neck, anything -- come back right away, ok?

Courtney: I will. Thank you. {Taggert walks over to them}

Taggert: Lt. Taggert, PCPD. I'm going to need a B.A. On this one.

Courtney: A B.A.?

Taggert: Blood alcohol toxic screen, all right?

Nurse: Ok.

Courtney: You think I was drinking?

Taggert: The sooner, the better.

Sonny: Taggert -- get your hands off my sister.
